Miller's Oven
One of our favourite neighbours, the Miller's Oven is a great little restaurant and tea room, open 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., run by the seniors with the assistance of student volunteers.
Known for its desserts and scones, it is well worth exploring for breakfast and lunch, too!

Black Dog
If you are looking for a superlative and imaginative, as well as delicious, dining experience, you have to check out the Black Dog. And their sister restaurant in Osgoode, the Red Dot (ask us for directions or wait until we add the Osgoode restaurants onto this page!).
The food at the Black Dog is creative and wonderful, they have "caketails" too (just go and ask!) and great desserts. |

Pomegranate Cafe
Pomegranate Cafe is south of Mill Street, on Manotick Main. It has a Scottish chef (you'd think he'd know to warm the scones, but you have to ask) and they are new to Manotick. They have an interesting menu, and the food is acceptable. It's worth a trip to try the soups. |
Kelly's Welcome
Kelly's Welcome is and Irish Pub and Restaurant that has a lively night life. The outdoor cafe is busy in warm weather, and there often is music. They have pool tables and a large bar, and with the no smoking regulations in Ottawa it can all be enjoyed! |

Oggi
Oggi is the Italian restaurant just across Main Street from us. It has a decent menu, and a nice outdoor cafe in the warmer months.

Village Perk
A (better) substitute for Tim Hortons within walking distance of our new place - the Village Perk offers organic coffee, teas and other beverages, truffles, ice cream, and sandwiches too. |

Paesano
Paesano is an Italian restaurant in Manotick Mews, also walking distance from Mill Street. It has an upscale menu, and has pizzas worth checking out as well. We've had better creme brulee, though. |
